We listen with purpose to understand you and your story. We begin developing a 360-degree understanding of you and your family. We mutually decide whether to move forward together.
Step 2. Financial Data and number crunching
We collect your current financial data and begin our quantitative analysis of your financial situation in light of your purpose and goals.
Step 3. Ground State and Goals
We share our analysis of how your current finances affect your goals. We talk more specifically about your plans, goals, and dreams. Depending on your circumstances, we might also discuss your insurance, estate plans, charitable plans, and other related considerations.
Step 4. What If?
We present draft recommendations and opportunities. We review your income, investments, and taxes. Together, we explore opportunities that can help you better realize your goals.
Step 5. Recommendations and Plans
Based on your input during our What If discussion, we present our recommendations for investments and other plans. Together, we agree on an investment policy statement, the purpose of which is to ensure that we have heard you correctly and that you can be confident you have been heard. We formulate a list of action items for us and for you and other professionals you work with.
Step 6. Support
We monitor your investment performance and make adjustments as needed, in accordance with your investment policy statement. You call or email us any time you have questions—any questions at all. We meet periodically to discuss progress and to ensure we stay current in our 360-degree understanding of how finances are working in your life.
